Living together faithfully...

Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time.

Hatred ceases through love. This is an unalterable law.

– The Buddha

The Golden Rule:  Treat others like you want to be treated.

The Greatest Commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.    - Jesus the Christ

At some point I must stop and consider that we all hope in the same thing: love not hatred, peace not war, compassion not pity.  While we don't ofter see pictures of this in the world today, I am reminded in the peaceful  Egyptian protest that it really is possible to coexist with other world religions.

In fact, it is not just possible, it is necessary.  It is how God wants us to be with one another.

Consider how you might circle around friends and neighbors of different faiths.

How does this opportunity make your faith stronger?

How might you encourage others to do the same?

The possibilities are too great to miss this chance to truly live into the Greatest Commandment, the Golden Rule, the unalterable law.
